Startup Weekend Kosice

Our cryptocurrencies team has attended Startup Weekend Kosice 2017. Startup Weekend is 54-hour event during which teams workon a product prototype while also working on a business plan. At the end of the event, each team has a few minutes to explain the idea to judges. The event is great way to get familiar with basics of building a product and lean startup mentality in general or if you are experienced like our team, the event is a great time to fully focus and move quickly with your idea. We are closely following the crypto space and one of the main problem is that it's hard to work with currencies. That's why we've chosen to work on a project helping to own and buy cryptocurrencies. The main idea was to be able to see complete portfolio of your cryptocurrencies across all your wallets including exchanges, hot and cold wallets. This is something which solves our personal needs. There are few existing solutions but neither of them was up to our standard. During the weekend we've created a simple prototype, did basic market research, surveyed potential customers. At the end we were able to convince judges from Deutsche Telekom, T-Systems and VC fund to pick us as a winner among 9 teams. We are very proud of our team and work they've done during the weekend and we realize that winning was the easier part. In next few weeks we are going to continue to work on idea and we will see how really useful it is. Of course we are committed to work in crypto space for a long term.
